Gary Sinise is "Give 'em Hell" Harry, a simple man of the people who became one of America's greatest presidents. Comments about this product:

A startingly realistic story of Truman's early life, his war experiences, his rise in political life as a protege of a crooked local Missouri boss, his marriage to Bess and lifetime commitment to her, his rise to National Political life as a Senator, and his ultimate assention to the Presidency at the death of Roosevelt. His tough decision to use the Atom bonb to save lives, and his devotion to not allow graft to stain his political career. I recived this story as a gift from HBO in VHS format back in 1995 when it first came out. Reviewed it recently, and found it as enchanting as when we originally viewed it. It is very informative, and very enjoyable.
