The warning if people will just read at the HBO website and the California Prop talks about the art work paint, not the cup or inside of the cup. I see all the reviews of other people and just kills me that they don't even read or understand the warning and post neg reviews. Drink from the cup, don't lick the design.

I recently bought a variety of True Blood mugs, and this is my favorite. It is nice and heavy--but not too heavy--and reminds me of the kind of coffee mugs that were used in diners once upon a time. After using it, my husband asked me to get a few more, and that is *very* high praise! We use the mugs for coffee and tea in the morning, and we put them in the microwave with no problems. I like the design, too--it's simple and unobtrusive, which is nice in the morning.
