TWO PERCENT OF THE WORLD’S POPULATION HAS DISAPPEARED. Was it the Rapture? A mass murder? Cult suicides? Aliens? Based on Tom Perrotta’s bestselling novel, The Leftovers follows Kevin Garvey (Justin Theroux), police chief and father of two in Mapletown, New York, three years after the mysterious event. As Garvey struggles to grieve for his losses, rebuild his life, and regain a sense of normalcy within the community, the world around him grows ever stranger. Comments about this product:

I have been watching the show at home. I have never seen any show quite like this one. The idea was so original, the story lines fascinating, each episode was gripping-I couldn't turn away. The Guilty Remnants are terrifying and heartbreaking at the same time. The episode that showed the moments of departure-well I don't have adequate words. Every element is top notch-the cast, writing, directing, production values-all of it. The most involving, satisfying series for me since "The Sopranos." My only "complaint" is that the break between seasons 1 and 2 was too long.
