Be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it, as Robert Forster finds out the hard way in this indie psychological drama. Forster is a former child star and current failed game show contestant who meets L.A. newcomer Kip Pardue, a young man apparently born lucky and the key, Forster thinks, to turning his own luck around. When Pardue finds the game-show success that has always eluded Forster, the older man shares in it. But when Pardue wins the heart of Rose McGowan, the woman Forster secretly loves, Forster aims to end his new friend's lucky streak.
