Looks exactly how it was advertised. Very cool gift and my husband will love it. I was, however, disappointed that they cups (I bought two sets) did not come in any sort of packaging other than the shipping box and some bubble wrap. It reminds me a what you would get from that big online place when making a "used" purchase.

I may be in my mid-twenties, but darn, I love watching it transform from black to white. Seriously, watching it turn color will never grow tiring. Packaging wise; it was packaged well, no cracks or scratches upon delivery.

I really doubted that this would work but, I love Game of Thrones and I needed a new mug. I can honestly say that I was completely shocked at how well it worked. I'm amazed and I love it so much that I ordered a True Blood one as well. The only thing is that it was smaller than I expected. Still, this is probably the best purchase I ever made.

Brought this to work on the first day of spring. Winter is coming. Got alot of laughs! Found out just how many people read the books or watched the shows. Moral was get at work after that.

Very nice mug with gorgeous color transition as mug heats up and cools off. If you gift it without mentioning of color transition magic, expect even greater surprise.
The only thing worse mentioning is that you are not supposed to put this mug in a dishwasher. No other babysitting otherwise.

I use this everyday for my evening tea or coffee, apart from it being smaller than I'd like and the occasional friend try to "borrow" it, I have no issues. Great product that works everytime, I handwash it personally to make sure that it lasts. My favorite part about this mug is watching the color change, it never gets old.

I'm keeping this, as it's too late to return it...but I am not sure that I would recommend it. The mug is already blotchy after changing color a few times. It was kind of expensive (for a mug). I want to buy that new thermos that is also heat sensitive, but I want to wait for reviews...not sure how these items hold up over time. I'm not impressed with this product.

This mug is really cool. Pour in whatever hot liquid you want to drink and watch the mug change color! The small inner smile I have when I see the color transform never goes away, no matter how many times I've used it before.

I bought this as a christmas gift, and while it is a fun and novel mug, I think it's a bit cheap in quality. I noticed after it'd been used & washed a few times, that there was a small chip on the bottom. I'm not sure if that's from general wear, or if it got that way during shipping, but I'm a little nervous that it'll continue to chip.
Bottom line: It's a very loved mug, and used nearly everyday! Watching it change is always fun :P

It works quite well and the effect hasn't worn out (I assume it lasts for a while then). It is quite amusing to drink your coffee and watch it change colours, and my co workers are fond of it. A great simple gift for any GOT fan :)

I bought one for myself and one for my boyfriend. Both arrived in the mail in the same box. One was perfect, the other broken. HBO sent me a new one free of charge!! Awesome customer service :)
Couldn't be more happier with the mug, it is a good size and fun to watch it change colour. We are huge Game of Thrones fans, it is the perfect edition to our home!
