Really love the series and wanted something special for our weekend cups of coffee. The design and writing are coming off very quickly...soon we'll have plain mugs. For what these cost, this is simply unacceptable.

We got both the Khal and Khaleesi mugs. We got them for Christmas and the day after, before we used them we decided not to wash them in the dishwasher but to hand wash them. The design on the mugs flaked off. Instead of using them as drinking mugs we use them as decoration, which is not what we had originally intended them to become. Too bad, would have made a great coco mug.

Makes a great "weekend" set of mugs. What's to like or not like about mugs...they're large enough for two cups of coffee, well-made and different from any of the countless mugs we have. It's something different to have for the "Game of Thrones" fans.
