I bought this for my husbands birthday (along with the sword letter opener). I read through a lot of reviews for both products before I ordered. I can understand some of the negative comments, but I think you would have to have really high expectations to be disappointed in this product. Since it's a paperweight, I don't think it's supposed to be huge. It's a nice size & weight, and looks great! An awesome keepsake for a fan of the show!

Love this! It's bigger then I expected (for a paperweight). It has a great solid feel, I just wish it was a bit more glossy, like they were in the movie.

This was one of 3 similar wedding gifts from a dear friend who kindly housed us in his manse in Pentos. These eggs are of the highest quality and stunning beauty but unfortunately age has turned them to stone. Store them in a cool place because when exposed to flame they will deteriorate resulting in dragons. This was kind of the plan though as I will use them to take what is mine with fire and blood. Basically, when my dragons are grown, we will take back what was stolen from me and destroy those who wronged me! We will lay waste to armies and burn cities to the ground! Oh, and they are great paperweights too!

As a fan of Game of Thrones, and a dragon-lover in general for a long time, this was the perfect little "me gift"...and this one even has a practical use! As a paperweight it's the perfect size and a unique edition to the dragon collection on display in my office.

I have a mate who is crazy about GoT. I got him this for his birthday and he absolutely loves it.

It looks really good and is heavy so it's a perfect paperweight.

Some people are moaning about how small it is...the description of the product is 100% accurate so there's no surprises about the size.

I purchased two dragon's eggs for a couple GOT-enthusiasts and was disappointed at first because I only received one in the mail, though the shipping label indicated two had shipped. And the one I did receive also had a defect in the bag. So I emailed customer service to report the problem, and within an hour, they had responded. They sent two more eggs at no charge and had them delivered in two days. That saved the day as these were to be gifts and I needed them by the end of the week. I'm impressed at the quality of the dragons' eggs and will be getting one for myself soon. My friends LOVED them. They are great as paperweights. Anyone who thought they would be bigger doesn't understand the size a paperweight should be. Great job, HBO. Consider me happy!

I got this as a gift for my husband and I was really excited about it until I actually got it. It was so much smaller than I expected it to be. It was barely the size of a chicken egg! I was expecting something a little more similar to the show. I know it's only a paper weight, but it could have easily been a little bigger. Also, the color I got was a white/blue colored egg and was really ugly. I was expecting the color of the egg in the picture. I also didn't see on the website the actual dimensions when I ordered it. Sad to say that I returned it the day I got it.

I love this. I loved the dragon eggs on the show, and at the time, I said, "oh, I wish I could have one!" Now I do. I sometimes hold it and pretend I am the Khalessi and that I will soon have a baby dragon of my own. I do wish the color, which is a darkish green, was a tiny bit more vibrant, but overall, I am very happy with the item.

Looks like the dragon eggs from the show but much much smaller. Thats my only real disappointment and on a sidenote the bag the egg comes doesn't say'game of thrones' like the discription says. You can tell its supposed to be there but theres just some smudged ink where the letters were supposed to be printed

If you love Danerys and/or her dragons, you will love this paperweight. The egg is not as big as the ones on the show, but it is a lot of fun to have on your desk. The scales along the egg feel nice too.

The color is lighter than I expected -- more a pale green than the dark green/black shown -- but it is a beautiful piece. The detail is lovely.
