Game of Thrones Distressed Stannis Baratheon Pint Glass

The cup is advertised as "Distressed," when really, it's just a cheap lay-on image. Won't get rid of the cups, though. They're pretty cool if you don't look too close.

I bought this item for a friend of mine, and it was a great hit, especially as he likes Stannis' Baratheon standard more than Robert's. However, when I took it out of the packaging, the sigil looked remarkably worn, as if it had already been washed. I know it was supposed to be distressed, but I was expecting something a little crisper. Ah well. It's a good cup nonetheless.

The glass is big enough to fit in one can so it is perfect. The only thing I would change is resize the heraldric part of the design to a bigger size, as is it smaller than the ''Game of Thrones'' label on the other side. Specially I bought the glass for the heraldric design as I am fan of Stannis Baratheon.

I got the entire set of 7 of these, and while the glasses themselves are fine shape, I was really quite underwhelmed by the printing of the logos and copy on the glasses. It is some sort of transfer print, not screen printing, and not even the kind of quality you would expect from something on CafePress, and while they are referred to as "distressed," the dot quality is just incredibly low, the house sigils all just flat-out look terrible. I would not purchase these again.

This glass does not fit in with the set. I realize there's already a Baratheon glass with the house words on it, but I think it would be fine if they doubled up and put "Ours is fury," on it. Only real fans would want to collect the entire set and without the house words this glass is lame. HBO should put "For the night is dark and full of terrors," on the reverse side and then this would be a great addition to the set. Otherwise why bother.
