It is an interesting and complex game. It is as close as a game could be to the real thing. There all a lot of rules to remember but after reading them a few times and playing a couple of rounds you can figure it out and it is a lot of fun.

This is absolutely the best board game I have every played! Sure there are some rules but once you read through the rule book it is easy and MAKES SINCE. I had some friends who dont know game of thrones and arent really even board game players and they loved it asking when we can play again. I highly reccomend this to everyone, and for age limit, my 8 year old cousin understood it well enough to almost win. A great purchase!

It's super confusing to learn, until you start actually playing through the rules. Once you have them down though, the game is intense. It definitely helps you to visualize Westeros. Only played with 3 players so far, but can only imagine what it would be like with more. Two thumbs up!

Game of Thrones boardgame is a truly excellent game which is fun to play as well as giving true flavor from the GRR Martin's wonderful novels. I have played this game for several years and it is the only game I now play online. The physical board game is made of high quality components which will not wear out. The game design is truly top notch. If you would play any Game of Thrones game, this would be it! This is an intermediate level board wargame which is neither too simple nor too complex. It has the tactics of Chess with the negotiations of Diplomacy. I cannot recommend this game too highly! This second edition refines the rules as well as the map. Game of Thrones is a truly excellent game which does not get the praise it deserves!
