I love this sterling silver Authority necklace from True Blood. It's kind of ironic that it's silver, but I like to think I'm a member of the branch of the Authority that you never heard about. Perhaps you are part of the Authority's Secret Service-- clearly that's a group that needs our help! This is almost exactly like the costume version, but the inner wings have a bit of texture, and the garnet setting is perfectly straight. The downfall of this is the clasp on the chain. It's not a lobster claw, rather an open hook. Without bending the hook, I never feel like it's secure, and that hook will eventually break. The chain is long enough that it will fit most necks. I prefer a shorter chain, but I know most people like a looser fit. None of the negatives were enough to stop me from buying it, though, and the chain can easily be swapped out to a shorter chain. 4 stars for a fantastic necklace, minus one for the clasp.

This necklace is BEAUTIFUL! It's a wonderful necklace that sparkles, stands out to Truebies, and the weight is actually VERY heavy compared to the cheap one. A night out on the town, at a bar, with a costume, to the office in a low cut shirt...it goes perfect for everything.
