CON:
My only real dislike is that, I wish the cities were a bit more detailed. On the map they are simply small black dots with the name next to them.

It would be nice to see some sort of small fort/city detail to give a sort of scale to the city. For example, Kingslanding is the same small dot as Riverrun. But it is a much larger city.

The Westeros Map iPhone App does a good job of this.

Overall:
This is a great gift or personal purchase for any Game of Thrones fan looking to add some GoT decor to their home!

This map is incredible. I never knew how much bigger Essos is than Westros. You can follow each character's journey. I discovered that nothing in Essos was where I thought it was. The one problem is certain important cities, like Astapor (in _Storm of Swords_), and even part of the southern continent, aren't listed. Perhaps they only listed places mentioned in the first two seasons. I just wish it was a little more detailed.

Not good for traveling around the free cities. Volantis is missing. Not sure everything else is accurate. Wish there wasnt a giant HBO logo, HBO didn't create Westeros. Nicely packaged.

It looks wonderful and was packaged extremely well. Mine had small tears on the corners but is hardly noticeable. Now, all I need to do is find a frame for it and it will be complete.

It is hands-down a fantastic poster. I only wish it had heavier paper and was built stronger because it can be messed up easily. Otherwise though if you know how to take care of it and keep it well, it's an amazing collector's item.

I framed this and gave it to my dad as a gift. It looks very nice and is helpful when reading the books to see exactly where everything is located. Fun collector's item and shipped fast. Very satisfied.

This is a beautiful map, and for basic reference it is nice, but not only are major locaions not marked, but the contenent of Essos is too small for the events there, and a few locations are marked in the wrong place. Qohor, for example, is in the wrong location, and Volantis isn't even on the map.
The Westeros section is fantastic.

It's a cool map of Essos and Westeros, but it could have been a lot better. There aren't that many location labels and they are very hard to read. They are either tiny or written in horrible calligraphy. This was probably intended to fit in with the aesthetics of the map, but they could have at least picked a more readable font and/or made the type larger.

The map itself is pretty bland to look at with a few shades of tan used for the land and black for the water. It does look nice on my wall though.

This map is a must have for fans of "Game of Thrones." For a non-book reader it helps me see exactly where everybody is in the world at a given time. It also illustraits how vast the world really is!

Although I am very happy with the items I ordered and they are good quality, the postage was terrible. Apart from not really being FedEx proper, it took 2 weeks rather then the 2-7 days as they promised. The box my orders arrived in was smashed, and I was lucky nothing was broken. I would go with the two day or overnight shipping instead of regular shipping next time. Although it may mean 2 days after the 3 day processing time. Who knows?
