Game of Thrones Lannister Banner

I got the 3-pack that includes Houses Stark, Targaryen, and Lannister. These are really lovely and seem to be quite high quality. They appear to be made of something like a thick satin, so there is a nice sheen to the fabric and they're smooth to the touch. There is a pretty matching fringe along the bottom, and the string they hang from matches as well. They're thick because the design is legible on both sides (it's two layers), and they feel well-constructed. They're a good size: about the size of a newspaper folded in half maybe, or a large magazine. They're the right size to hang all three on the same wall.

They look great on my wall next to my maps of Westeros and other nerdy stuff, but, since the design is on both sides, you could hang them from the ceiling or on a standard or something too. Ooohh, I should make them into standards!! :o

The print on them is very nice, especially the Targaryen banner with its BOLD black and red (but of course I love the Stark one best). I'm not the biggest fan of the "distressed" look in general and would be interested to see how they'd look without the effect, but it does work well with these flags.

My only issue is that, since they ship rolled up inside a tube, they stay wrinkled at the bottom for quite some time. I've had them hung up for about 2 weeks and the bottoms are still a little wrinkled. I'm afraid to iron them because I'm not sure if that could hurt them, so maybe I'll try hanging them in the bathroom during a hot shower (to steam) and report back, lol.

All in all, these are just very cool decorations for a nerd like me. They definitely don't look like they came out of Westeros or anything - the fabric and design are too modern-looking - but it's quite clear what they represent, and they just look good. I think they're really pretty and quite high quality, and I really do like them!
