I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher. Doesn't matter if it says it's OK or not as dishwashing any type of glass/mug with print on it, will damage it eventually. So it's not so much a con, just a precaution.

The Mug is fantastic! It is so cool to watch it change.

My only complaint is that it is not clear on any written description or on the web site if the mug is microwavable safe. I just assumed that it isn't for either dishwasher or microwavable. HBO should make that completely clear.

Save your money on the gift wrap option. An adhesive, stick-on paper snowflake was placed on the box cover completely off center. It looked really cheap. The personalized message was a joke too. Not only was it placed on the shipping invoice but, the last two (2) lines were deleted. Very little attention paid to detail. Though the mug is nice, forget the personalized message and gift wrapping. A TV type mug, from another company, at least typed the personalized message and put it inside the mug prior to sealing the box.

I wish this came with two cups! i bought it as a gift and for the price, I would expect to get two mugs so it can be enjoyed for a couple but it's still a great buy and very unique to the fans who love True Blood!

I Love this mug so much I bought 3 on our way to making a set! The way it changes and what it changes to is cool!! Just watching the transformation is pretty neat. I highly recommend this one for any TB fan

This product is great and works exactly how it's meant to. I use to when drinking hot drinks such as hot tea or coffee. I love the color change, and it's fun to sit and watch it happen. You know when your drink is getting cold when the cup starts turning back to black.

Bought this Item for my Wife for Valentine's Day and she enjoys her morning hot cocoa out of it. She loves the fact that it goes from Black to White and you can see the Fang marks with blood dripping down it.

This is my favorite coffee mug. As I pour the hot coffee into the mug, can see the color change from black to white all the way up the sides of the mug. My daughter wants to use it, but I told her "hands off, it is my mug!"

Its very cool when pouring hot water into the mug. Also pouring cooler water along the sides when it was just hot, gives a weird effect where the water landed. I wish the mug was larger.

I was not ecpecting much but the first time I used this I was amazed at how well it worked. I actually took a video to show my friends and family I was so impressed. Great job!
