Description says black but is black-brown.
The shirt has very thin material but not see through.
It is soft. Feels about a half size smaller than standard. Purchased 2XL feels a bit bigger than most of my XL shirts.
The "The Hand" logo is cool. Big enough to see but not so large it looks ridiculous.

This shirt is great. From reading a previous review i was worried this may be a bad t-shirt. Usually shirts bought online are hard to gauge the right size and are cheap and don't fit right.
Needless to say i ordered this Hand of the King shirt in XL and was pleasantly suprised! Its actually made of a nice quality material softer cotton then I expected. it fits great (i'm tall and skinny) and doesn't appear to baggy. So if you typically wear large i would go a size up to XL as depending on manufacturers shirts vary in size for me as large or XL.
I haven't washed it yet so well see how it holds up afterwards but so far i'm pretty impressed most merchandise related t-shirts are cheap and use low quality t-shirt templates but this one is good quality in material, fit and appearance.
And Seven hells its a Hand of the King T-Shirt!

Surprising Poor Quality

Let me start by saying I've ordered items from HBO store before and never been disappointed and this shirt is not a true representation of their normal great item quality.
The only positive I can come up with is that the color is good and the image is good.
That being said this shirt feels super thin and cheap. It has a feel of a white undershirt rather than a normal wear T-shirt. I ordered a 2X figuring it would be just about the right size if not a little big on me but it is actually small. I am a not a heavy person weight wise but I am tall 6'5" and wide in the shoulders so regular XL is usually a little tight in the chest area so 2X is normally a better fit but not in this case because the sleeves pull up short and the length could be a little longer.
Sorry to say but I wouldn't recommend this shirt to anybody expecting a least normal retail store tee-shrit quality.

I bought this for my husband as one of his Father's Day gifts. He liked the look but the fit is somewhat too small and the fabric is unusually thin especially for a man's T-shirt. I wish that wasn't so because we both love the series, but I have to tell the truth.
