I ordered 4 of the shields/crests total, Targaeryn, Stark, Tully, and Baratheon. They are the right size to mount two on either side of my TV. I got them without the slogans, and frankly would have preferred them without the house names or the GOT logo. HBO seems to want Game of Thrones printed on everything. But that said, I like the size, shape, coloring, etc. of them, they look cool and are an OK value. And I get to see them more than if I had just bought another T-shirt.

Just like all the rest of their wall plaques for Game of thrones houses. The colors are muted, its lazer jet printed on. The house sigil and text are hazy around the edges. At this point I'm not sure if this was intentional to make it look like an aged authentic painted medieval shield for display on a wall. It would have looked better if the lines were crisp and sharp.

The colors more bold. And the thing on the colors. The background is the wrong color. It should BE BLACK not deep purple. I understand this is the HBO version but still would a variant hurt? A black background and bright red or white text with the bright red dragon wouldn't hurt. Would be truer to the book. USE VECTOR images not Raster! The pressed mdf wood is forgivable.

So buyer beware. It looks good on my wall. But not great. Needs to POP more!

I bought this for my husband for part of an anniversary present. We both enjoy the books and the HBO series Game of Thrones. He loves the wall plaque! It was a great gift for him. :-)

I think that this product - and those similar to it - is SO close to being really great. The direct print on the pressure board really needs to be much SHARPER and CRISPER. The line work should reflect the sharpness and clarity as seen on the t-shirts. I am a graphic designer and I know for a fact that there are printers out there that can print direct on this type of substrate and not lose line quality or sharpness. But as a first attempt, this product is pretty cool! All the manufacturer needs to do is find a way to print the logo and motto words as sharp as seen on the t-shirts. Since the logos are designed with vector based art and type, there is no reason why this can't be done.

I think once a few print quality adjustments are made, this product - and it's companion family of products will be great. My biggest complaint is that the graphic is too soft. The line design on the logo and type should be sharp and crisp to give it more definition and "pop". As a logo designer, I know for a fact that the artwork used is NOT VECTOR due to the poor sharpness issues - especially in the logo type.

Also, the Targaryen house colors are Red and BLACK - not "deep purple". Please change the background of the shield to BLACK!!!

Once these items are fixed, this piece should be exactly the way it MUST be produced in order to please customers who are extremely detail oriented; like myself, and most "collectors" as well.

Please don't skimp on quality with these items. Collectors are a passionate group that enjoy purchasing these types of items - only to be sorely disappointed and let down when they are not produced to a high standard of quality. Make sure you are giving us your best!!!
