The description should be CLEAR… Are the books HDCVR or PAPERBK??? I thought I was buying HDBK, but they weren't. Instead of sending them back, I read them & when Charlaine Harris completes the series of 13 books, I'll buy that completed series in HDBK. So, the mistake worked out. This Collection is Phenomenal & a great read for anyone!

This has got to be the best bookset I have ever read. I watched season 1, and I was curious to see if they had books, and after finding them, I have never been the same. I read the entire series before season 2 came out. I am now reading some of her other novels. Charlain Harris is my new favorite Author!

They keep you always wanting to read the next one. I am awaiting the next one released in May 2010! I can't put them down. And I don't like to read. I hope they put Bubba in the story though. I can't wait for the next season.

I purchased the book set back in November 2008. I spent every waking moment with my nose in these books! And once I was through I rushed to the store to get the 8th! (Then waited for eternity for the 9th to come out in May. lol) Charlaine Harris is an EXCELLENT writer and Alan Ball has done beautifully to translate it onto the big screen. If you love True Blood, you WILL LOVE THESE BOOKS!!! :)

This is an wonderful series of books. Charlaine Harris has created interesting characters that inhabit a world where humans live among a variety of supernaturals and their cultures. It is a really well done series of vampire novels that are a fun read and not dark and depressing like some vampire novels I have read. Each book leaves you wanting more.

i didn't buy the set from here, but bought them individually. they are without a doubt some of the best books i've ever read. sookie is hot, and the love scenes are discriptive, but not overly pornographic...all in all a must buy
