I use the Alzheimer's DVD Momentum in Science section to help college students understand the disease, the research connected with the disease, and ways an individual might be able to modify their own risk for the disease. I use the caregiver and patient memory tapes to help students understand the social imapct of the disease.

My Father-in-Law has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and we needed to learn more about the disease. This turned out to be the right venue. It accurately portrays the sad devastation to the individual and its subsequent impact upon families and society as well as giving hope and insight for the future. This is an excellent production and I recommend it for anyone looking for information.

The HBO Alzheimer's videos are outstanding, not just for families of those with AD, but anyone interested in maintaining their brain and mental faculties, especially the suplemental series on new science.

This is the best Alzheimer's Video I have seen. I use it as a training tool for staff of Long Term Care Homes. These program is great to have families and friends to view when they have someone that has Alzheimer's. It really helped my family understand what some of our family members are going through. It also helped my family understand why I love working with Alzheimer's Patients for a living.

My mother is dieing from alzheimer's. The medical facts and research presented has helped on so many levels. I have recommeded this documentary to my entire extended family. I really believe this should be available to a much large audience.

This education tool was also entirely entertaining, including the research. It was a revelation to see so many different aspects of Alzheimer's covered with many personal stories.
I felt hopeful, if not for my mother, then perhaps for myself.

My grandmother died of Alzheimers and now my mom has it. This documentary has helped me understand so much more. It is very heartbreaking watching a loved one slip away from you day by day. I recommend that everybody watch these dvd's. I am going to encourage my children to watch them. I don't think I have ever watch something so real and informative. I agree that they should be shown on regular tv channels because not everybody has hbo. Thank you for providing these dvd's.

I was able to view a prescreening of the caregiver segment. WOW! This project captured the emotional impact of Alzheimer's and at the same time provided insight into a few caregiver's worlds who will be inspirations for many! For many people, this is the reality of Alzheimer's and I am hopeful this segment will open the eyes of many as to the impact of Alzheimer's disease on individuals diagnosed and their family and friends. Kudos to many for a fabulous production!
