I have watched this particular documentary twice, and I am glad I did. "Thinking XXX" is not simply about putting naked adult film stars in front of your television screen. The documentary touches on issues such a race in the adult film industry, the aspirations of the people who are in the industry and how they deal with life outside of pornography, the unequal salaries between male and female performers (including how much a male can make for doing a gay film versus a straight one), and many other topics. Sure, you can watch the documentary just to see some of your favorite adult stars in the buff, but you will be missing out on a great HBO documentary if do not also listen to what these naked adults are telling you about their lives. So watch "Thinking XXX." You will never see the stars of the adult film industry the same way again.
