4 Little Girls DVD

Spike Lee directs this quietly gripping documentary exploring the 1963 bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, in which four African-American girls were murdered. Lee uses the incident to explore race relations and civil rights in the 1960s, and examine how tragic events like these reverberate through the decades to today. An unflinching look at the not-so distant past that should be required viewing for all.

    Comments about this product:

Spike Lee; the director of this film did an excellent job. I liked how he used music; songs inbetween the documentary footage. Seeing the friends, family and others involved (interviews) was very emotional. I found my eyes tearing.

      Comments about this product:

If you don't know the full story of the four young girls who died by a person's hate of another, then you must see this documentary. Spike Lee takes the audience on a journey where you get the actual reactions of the people involved. Like When the Levees Broke, 4 Little Girls will touch you in a way you won't want to turn the channel. It's emotional and heart-wrenching in a way you will appreciate this piece of history.
